Colleen joins HDRF with over a decade of nonprofit and fundraising experience. Most recently she served as the Director of Development and Communications for the National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City (NAMI-NYC Metro), where she launched the anti-stigma campaign #IWillListen, among other highly impactful fundraising and communications initiatives.  Colleen has also led the development departments at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission.  She graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science in Diplomacy and International Relations.  Her dedication to the non-profit sphere began in high school when she served on the International Youth Board of Free The Children, an international children’s rights organization.
