HDRF Hosts Second Annual Palm Beach HOPE Luncheon Seminar,

In 2026, Hope for Depression Research Foundation marks 20 years at the leading edge of scientific research into depression.

The year kicked off with our Second Annual Palm Beach HOPE Luncheon Seminar, modeled after our annual New York City luncheon in the Fall. Over 130 guests gathered at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach on January 22 to learn about breakthroughs towards new treatments for depression and anxiety.

Tenth Annual Southampton Race of Hope Raises Over $500,000 For Depression Research,
August 6, 2025

The Hope for Depression Research Foundation’s (HDRF) Tenth Annual 5K Race of Hope brought together 1100 men, women and children on Sunday, August 3, in Southampton Village in support of research and mental health awareness. The landmark event raised over $500,000 for research into new and improved treatments for depression and anxiety.

The Third Annual Teen Race of Hope Draws Crowds to Raise Mental Health Awareness,
May 19, 2025

The Hope for Depression Research Foundation’s (HDRF) third annual Teen Race of Hope united more than 450 teenagers and their family members, friends, and teachers on Sunday, May 18th at Pier 76, Hudson River Park. The goal of the event is to raise awareness about the crisis in youth mental health in the U.S. and fight the stigma that still surrounds mental health.

HDRF Raises Over $1 Million For Seventh Anniversary of Palm Beach Race of Hope,
February 17, 2025

On Saturday, February 15th, 2025, the Hope for Depression Research Foundation (HDRF) celebrated the Seventh Anniversary of its Race of Hope 5K Walk & Run to Defeat Depression in Palm Beach at Bradley Park. The event gathered 1,200 people on Saturday morning in Palm Beach to support mental health awareness and urgent research into depression and anxiety.

Mariska Hargitay Honored at 18th Annual HOPE Luncheon Seminar,
November 12, 2024

HDRF held its 18th annual HOPE luncheon seminar on Tuesday, November 12 at The Plaza Hotel. The event focused on “Trauma and Recovery: How the Brain Heals” with top medical experts and beloved actor/producer Mariska Hargitay, who was honored for her work in the trauma field. The event drew 350 guests and raised $650,000 for life-saving mental health research.
